I did X-ray images on a patient the other day and she had a broken shoulder. Following our company's protocol, I talked to the radiologist and I called to notify the patient's physician. I ended up speaking to the nurse and to my surprise, she told me to send the pt away with a disc of her images and their office will contact her momentarily.
